TOUR OF KITCHENS 2008
DRIVING DIRECTIONS

Tour of Kitchens is a self guided tour, meaning you may start at any house and visit as many kitchens as you please from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.  If you have any questions, please call the Junior League Office at (352) 376-3805.

Site # 1: Cucina Mia at the Tioga Town Center
13005 SW 1st  Road Newberry, FL 32669
From I-75 travel WEST on Newberry Road for approximately 3 ½ miles to Town of Tioga Town Center. (Town of Tioga Town Center is located directly across from West End Golf Club). Turn SOUTH onto SW 128th Street. Turn RIGHT onto SW 1st Road. Continue through the stop sign and Cucina Mia will be on your left.

Site # 2: Town of Tioga
346 SW 131st Street, Newberry FL 32669
From Town of Tioga Town Center, travel approximately a half mile WEST on Newberry Road to Town of Tioga. Turn SOUTH onto SW 131st Street. Continue on SW 131st Street through two roundabouts. The home is a white two-story home, located at the corner of SW 131st Street and SW 3rd Lane on the WEST side of the street.

Site # 3: The Hammock
5514 NW 99th Terrace, Gainesville, FL 32653
From West Gainesville: From 39th Avenue and NW 143rd Street (CR-241) travel approximately 2 miles NORTH to Millhopper Road (CR-232), turn EAST. Travel on Millhopper Road for approximately 3 miles to The Hammock subdivision and turn RIGHT onto NW 97th Street. Make your first RIGHT onto NW 59th Place. Turn LEFT onto NW 99th Terrace. Follow NW 99th Terrace to the end of the road to the cul-de-sac, the home is a green two story home, located on your right.

From NW 43rd Street and Millhopper Road: Travel WEST on Millhopper Road for approximately 4 miles to The Hammock subdivision, turn LEFT onto NW 97th Street. Make your first RIGHT onto NW 59th Place.   Turn LEFT onto NW 99th Terrace. Follow NW 99th Terrace to the end of the road to the cul-de-sac, the home is a green two story home, located on your right.

Site # 4: Duck Pond
303 NE 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32601
From N. Main Street, turn EAST onto NE 8th Avenue. Travel approximately 1/10th of a mile on NE 8th Avenue. The home is a brick home located on the SE corner at NE 8th Avenue and NE 3rd Street. Parking is available at the Thomas Center (302 NE 6th Avenue) which is less than a 1/10th of a mile from the home.

Site # 5: Duck Pond
17 NE 8th Street, Gainesville FL 32601
From Main Street and East University Avenue, travel EAST on University Avenue approximately a ½ mile to NE 8th Street. Turn NORTH (at the Birth Center of Gainesville) onto NE 8th Street. The home is a green two story home directly behind the Birth Center on the EAST side of the street.

Site # 6: Bivens Arm Lake
1800 SW 35th Place, Gainesville, FL 32608
From I-75 take Exit 382 (Williston Road). Travel EAST on Williston Road for approximately 2 ½ miles to US-441 (13th Street). Turn NORTH onto US-441, travel approximately a ½ mile to SW 36th Place, turn WEST onto SW 36th Place (Merlion Singapore Cuisine is on your left and IHOP is on your right). Turn RIGHT onto SW 15th Street. At the curve, SW 15th Street becomes SW 35th Place. Continue on SW 35th Place to the gravel road and the fork in the road. Take the trail that continues to go straight. The home is the first home on the RIGHT. The home is a yellow ranch style home and sits away from the trail.  Turn in the driveway and parking is available in the yard.

From East University Avenue turn SOUTH onto 11th Street/Williston Road. Travel south on 11th Street/Williston Road for approximately 3 ½ miles to US-441 (13th Street). Turn NORTH onto US-441, travel approximately ½ mile to SW 36th Place, turn WEST onto SW 36th Place (Merlion Singapore Cuisine  is on your left and IHOP is on your right). Turn RIGHT onto SW 15th Street. At the curve, SW 15th Street becomes SW 35th Place. Continue on SW 35th Place to the gravel road and fork in the road. Take the trail that continues to go straight. The home is the first home on the RIGHT. The home is a yellow ranch style home and sits away from the trail.  Turn in the driveway and parking is available in the yard.

Site # 7: Hampstead Park in Haile Plantation
3856 SW 98th Terrace, Gainesville, FL 32608
From SW 24th Avenue and SW 91st Street: Travel SOUTH on NW 91st Street for approximately a ¼ mile to the roundabout continuing on SW 91st Street. Continue traveling SOUTH on SW 91st Street to a second roundabout. From the roundabout, take the first exit onto School House Road. Make your first LEFT onto SW 39th Avenue. At the second stop sign turn RIGHT onto SW 98th Terrace. The house is the second house on the LEFT, directly across from the slide and swing set.

From SW Archer Road and Tower Road: Travel WEST on SW Archer Road for approximately 1 ½ miles to SW 91st Street. Turn NORTH onto SW 91st Street. Continue North through two stop signs, you will then come to a roundabout. At the roundabout take the third exit onto School House Road.  Make your first LEFT onto SW 39th Avenue. At the second stop sign turn RIGHT onto SW 98th Terrace. The house is the second house on the LEFT, directly across from the slide and swing set.

Site # 8: Millington in Haile Plantation (Papa)
3519 SW 86th Street, Gainesville, FL 32608
From SW 24th Avenue and SW 91st Street: Travel SOUTH on NW 91st Street for approximately a 1/4 mile to the roundabout continuing on SW 91st Street. Continue traveling SOUTH on SW 91st Street for approximately a ½ mile to SW 38th Avenue. Turn EAST onto SW 38th Avenue continue to the stop sign. Turn LEFT onto SW 86th Street. The house is the second house on the right.

From SW Archer Road and Tower Road: Travel WEST on SW Archer Road for approximately 1 ½ miles to SW 91st Street. Turn NORTH onto SW 91st Street continue NORTH through two stop signs and one roundabout. From the roundabout, continue traveling on SW 91st Street for approximately a 1/4 mile to SW 38th Avenue. Turn EAST onto SW 38th Avenue to the stop sign. Turn LEFT onto SW 86th Street. The home is the second house on the right.

Site # 9: Oak Glen in Fletcher’s Mill
1735 NW 113th Drive, Gainesville, FL 32606
From SW 91st Street and W Newberry Road: Travel WEST on W. Newberry Road for approximately 1 ½ miles to NW 115th Street (Fletcher’s Mill). Turn NORTH onto NW 115th Street. Continue on NW 115th Street for approximately a ½ mile to Oak Glen. At Oak Glen, turn RIGHT onto NW 16th Place. NW 16th Place becomes NW 113th Drive. The home is the 6th house on the right from entrance of Oak Glen.
